दिल्ली। डॉ राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल के फिजियोथेरेपी विभाग ने 7 सितंबर 2022 को रोगी जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करके विश्व फिजियोथेरेपी दिवस मनाया।
इस वर्ष के लिए वर्ल्ड फिजियोथेरेपी एसोसिएशन द्वारा नामित थीम ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस और इसकी रोकथाम और इस स्थिति से प्रभावित लोगों के प्रबंधन में फिजियोथेरेपिस्ट की भूमिका है।
ओपीडी के बाहर ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस और इसकी रोकथाम और उपचार की व्याख्या करने वाले पोस्टर प्रदर्शित किए गए और विशेष शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर डॉ. जसविंदर कौर, एचओडी, फिजियोथेरेपी के अनुसार, सभी उम्र के 80 से अधिक रोगियों का मूल्यांकन, निदान और उपचार किया गया।
उन्हें विभिन्न जोड़ों के पुराने ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस के लक्षण, कारण और उपचार के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। घर पर किये जाने वाले व्यायाम, क्या करें और क्या न करें और निवारक उपायों की सलाह दी गई,और जिन मरीजों को विभाग में उपचार की आवशक्ता थी उनका इलाज वहाँ शुरू किया गया।
बताया गया कि इसके अलावा दिल्ली भर के पुलिस मुख्यालयों और वेलनेस सेंटरों में अलग-अलग जिलों में अलग-अलग तारीखों पर ऑस्टियोआर्थराइटिस जागरूकता के लिए कार्यशालाएं भी आयोजित की जाएंगी, जिसका लाभ पुलिस विभाग के कर्मचारियों को मिलेगा।
