हरिद्वार: स्टाइपेंड को लेकर ऋषिकुल आयुर्वेदिक कॉलेज के बीएएमएस के छात्र नाराज है। नाराज छात्रों ने अपनी मांगों को कॉलेज में तालाबंदी कर दी है। बताया जा रहा है कि ऋषिकुल और गुरुकुल में पढ़ने वाले बीएएमएस के छात्रों ने दिन-रात अपनी सेवाएं दी। कोरोना काल में भी इन छात्रों ने बढ़-चढ़कर लोगों की सेवा की, लेकिन जब स्टाइपेंड देने की बारी आई तो एमबीबीएस और बीएएमएस के छात्रों में सरकार द्वारा भेदभाव किया गया। ऐसे में अपनी मांगों को लेकर छात्रों ने आवाज बुलंद कर दी है।
मीडिया रिपोर्टस के अनुसार बीते कई महीनों से बीएएमएस के छात्र अपना स्टाइपेंड एमबीबीएस के छात्रों के बराबर करने की मांग करते आ रहे हैं, लेकिन कहीं कोई सुनवाई नहीं हो रही है। छात्रों का आरोप है कि कॉलेज प्रबंधन, प्रदेश सरकार स्टाइपेंड बढ़ाने को लेकर उन्हें लगातार गुमराह कर रही है। ऐसे में जब तक बीएएमएस छात्रों का स्टाइपेंड एमबीबीएस के छात्रों के बराबर नहीं किया जाता, तब तक कॉलेज में तालाबंदी कर विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रहेगा।
बताया जा रहा है कि बीते शुक्रवार को भी छात्रों ने ऋषिकुल आयुर्वेदिक कॉलेज में स्टाइपेंड बढ़ाने को लेकर हंगामा किया था, जिसके बाद न केवल कॉलेज प्रबंधन, बल्कि सरकार की ओर से भी जल्द इस पर निर्णय लेने की बात की गई थी। छात्रों का कहना है कि उन्हें आश्वासन दिया था कि सोमवार तक उनका स्टाइपेंड बढ़ा दिया जाएगा, लेकिन अब उन्हें पता चला है कि उनके साथ धोखा किया गया है।
