देहारदून। प्रसिद्ध गीतकार, कवि, लेखक और सेंसर बोर्ड के चेयरमैन प्रसून जोशी को उत्तराखंड की धामी सरकार ने राज्य का ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनाया है। प्रसून जोशी के ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनाए जाने को लेकर राज्यपाल ने मंजूरी भी दे दी है। जिसके बाद सचिव संस्कृति एवं धर्मस्व हरिचंद्र सेमवाल की ओर से इस संबंध में आदेश जारी किए। इससे पहले धामी सरकार ने प्रसून जोशी को ‘उत्तराखंड गौरव पुरस्कार’ से सम्मानित किया था।
उत्तराखंड सांस्कृतिक विरासत को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सरकार ने पद्मश्री प्रसून जोशी को ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनाया है। आदेश में संस्कृति महानिदेशक को ब्रांड एंबेसडर के लिए पद्मश्री प्रसून जोशी के साथ एमओयू के लिए अधिकृत किया गया।
कई पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित
बता दें कि प्रसून जोशी वर्तमान में फिल्म प्रमाणन बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष हैं। जाने माने गीतकार प्रसून जोशी को तीन बार साल 2007, 2008 और 2014 में फिल्म ‘भाग मिल्खा भाग’ के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ गीतकार का फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार मिल चुका है। सुपरहिट फिल्म ‘तारे जमीन पर’ और ‘चटगांव’ में उनके काम के लिए उन्हें दो बार सर्वश्रेष्ठ गीत के लिए राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार भी मिला है।
अल्मोड़ा में जन्में प्रसून जोशी
प्रसून जोशी का जन्म उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा जिले में 16 सितंबर 1968 को हुआ था। प्रसून जोशी के पिता का नाम देवेंद्र कुमार जोशी और माता का नाम सुषमा जोशी है। प्रसून जोशी का बचपन और उनकी शिक्षा तत्कालीन उत्तर प्रदेश में हुई थी। उनके पिता उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार मंथ शिक्षा निदेशक थे। प्रसून जोशी ने एमएससी के बाद एमबीए की पढ़ाई की।
