ऋषिकेश- वर्षों तक फाईलों में सिमटी रही संजय झील को योग नगरी के सबसे खूबसूरत रमणीक पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित करने का महापौर का ड्डीम प्रोजेक्ट धरातल पर उतरना शुरू हो गया है। महापौर अनिता ममगाई ने आज दोपहर वन विभाग के रेंजर के साथ रंभा नदी के उद्वगम स्थल का निरीक्षण किया और कार्य की प्रगति पर संतुष्टि जताते हुए उम्मीद जताई की करीब तीन दशकों से निर्माण की बाट जोह रही यह योजना जल्द पूर्ण हो जायेगी।
वन विभाग द्वारा संजय झील में बनायें गये जोगिंग प्वाइंट एवं लगाये गये बेंचों का बारीकी से अवलोकन करने के प्रश्चात महापौर ने कहा कि जल्द ही रंभा नदी का यह स्थल शहर के सबसे खूबसूरत पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में पहचाना जायेगा जहां योग ,ध्यान एवं आध्यात्मिक शांति के लिए पर्यटकों की भीड़ उमड़ेगी वहीं बच्चों के साथ पिकनिक एवं सैर सपाटा करने वालों के लिए भी यह प्रमुख आर्कषण का केन्द्र साबित होगा। महापौर ने बताया कि पर्यटन एवं तीर्थाटन के लिए रंभा नदी को विकसित करने के लिए वह पिछले तीन वर्षों से शिद्दत के साथ जुटी रही हैं।
उनके चुनावी घोषणा पत्र के सत्रहवें बिन्दु में संजय झील के निर्माण की योजना शामिल थी। इसके लिए वह लगातार प्रयासरत रही।तमाम उच्च अधिकारियों से हुई मुलाकात के दौरान उनके द्वारा प्रोजेक्ट को पूर्ण कराने में सकारात्मक सहयोग मिला। उन्होंने बताया की प्रमुख वन संरक्षक राजीव भरतरी से मुलाकात के दौरान उनके द्वारा संजय झील प्रोजेक्ट में तेजी लाने के लिए रिलीज हुई दस लाख की राशि से तत्काल डीपीआर तैयार करने की मांग भी की गई थी।
नतीजन, अब अब यह महत्वाकांक्षी योजना साकार होने की और अग्रसर हो चली है।इस मौके पर महापौर देवभूमि के संत समाज का आभार जताना नही भूली । उन्होंने कहा कि हरेला पर्व के दौरान शहर के संत समाज ने रंभा नदी के उद्वगम स्थल पर विभिन्न धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों के बीच पौधे रोंपें थे।
उनकेआर्शीवाद से ही यह योजना रफ्तार पकड़ सकी है। इस दौरान महापौर ने बताया कि इस रंभा कुंड का जिक्र स्कंदपुराण में किया गया है।यह स्थल रंभा कुंड के नाम से पहचाना जाये इसके लिए विभागीय अधिकारियों को प्रस्ताव दिया गया है। इस दौरान वन क्षेत्राधिकारी ललित मोहन सिंह नेगी, पार्षद विजय बडोनी, सुनील उनियाल, पूरण पवार, पवन शर्मा, राकेश पाल आदि शामिल रहे।
