पुलिस महानिदेशक, उत्तराखण्ड ने जनपद देहरादून में एक ही दिन में मियांवाला से लेकर सेलाकुई के 06 स्थानों पर हुई चेन स्नेचिंग की घटनाओं पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए देहरादून पुलिस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को पुलिस मुख्यालय तलब कर घटनाओं के अनावरण हेतु की जा रही कार्यवाही की जानकारी ली।
उन्होंने कन्ट्रोल रूम द्वारा फ्लैश की गयी चेन स्नेचिंग की सूचना पर सम्बन्धित थानाध्यक्ष, चौकी प्रभारी, चीता पुलिस, सिटी पेट्रोल के रिस्पॉन्स टाइम को चेक कर सम्बन्धित अधिकारी की जिम्मेदारी तय करते हुए कड़ी कार्यवाही करने हेतु निर्देशित किया। उन्होंने घटना के शीघ्र अनावरण करने हेतु टीमों का गठन करने के निर्देश दिए।
