गढ़वाल: केंद्र सरकार जल्द ही कोटद्वार क्षेत्र की जनता को सौगात देने जा रही है। जल्द ही नजीबाबाद-बुआखाल राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को मुरादाबाद-हरिद्वार राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग से जोड़ा जा रहा है। इस सड़क के बनने से जहां एक ओर कोटद्वार क्षेत्र की जनता को नजीबाबाद नहर बाइपास मार्ग पर हिचकोले नहीं खाने पड़ेंगे, वहीं बरसात के मौसम में भी प्रदेश की राजधानी पहुंचने में कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी।
जनपद बिजनौर के अंतर्गत नजीबाबाद शहर में नजीबाबाद-बुआखाल राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग और हरिद्वार-मुरादाबाद राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग एक-दूसरे को क्रास कर गुजरते हैं। नतीजा, नजीबाबाद में जाम की स्थिति बनी रहती है। जाम से निजात पाने को राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण ने शहर में चार फ्लाईओवर बनाए। साथ ही संकरे मार्गों का चौड़ीकरण भी किया। लेकिन, समस्या से निजात नहीं मिल रही। ऐसे में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण नजीबाबाद-बुआखाल राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग और हरिद्वार-मुरादाबाद राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को आपस में जोड़ने के लिए फोर लेन बाइपास मार्ग बनवा रहा है। यह बाइपास मार्ग मुरादाबाद-हरिद्वार राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर नजीबाबाद से करीब पांच किमी दूर प्राचीन मोटा महादेव मंदिर के समीप से नजीबाबाद-बुआखाल राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर ग्राम जसवंतपुर (चीनी मिल के समीप) तक आएगा। करीब ग्यारह किमी लंबे इस मार्ग के निर्माण का सीधा फायदा कोटद्वार क्षेत्र की जनता को मिलेगा। यह है वर्तमान स्थिति
वर्तमान में कोटद्वार से हरिद्वार जाने के लिए वाहन चालक नजीबाबाद नहर बाइपास रोड से होकर गुजरते हैं। भारी वाहनों की आवाजाही के कारण यह मार्ग बदहाल स्थिति में है। साथ ही सिगल लेन रोड होने के कारण इस सड़क पर दुर्घटनाओं की संभावनाएं भी काफी अधिक है। लालढांग-चिलरखाल वन मोटर मार्ग से भी आमजन आवाजाही करता है। लेकिन, इस मार्ग की स्थिति भी बेहतर नहीं है।
बनेगा फोरलेन बाईपास
दोनों राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग को आपस में जोड़ने के लिए फोर लेन बाइपास मार्ग बनाया जा रहा है। इस मार्ग के बनने के बाद कोटद्वार से हरिद्वार जाने के लिए नजीबाबाद आने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। जल्द ही मार्ग पर निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।
