उत्तरकाशीः चारधाम यात्रा पर मौसम आफत बनकर बरस रहा है। यमुनोत्री हाईवे पर बारिश के कारण भूस्खलन हुआ है। भूस्खलन के चलते सड़क धंस गई है। जिससे हजारों की संख्या में यात्री फंस गए है। बताया जा रहा है कि भूस्खलन यमुनोत्री धाम से 25 किमी पहले रानाचट्टी के पास यमुनोत्री हाईवे के पास हुआ है। इसकी वजह से यहां से केवल छोटे वाहन ही निकल पा रहे हैं, बड़े वाहनों की आवाजाही ठप हो गई है। दोनों ओर करीब चार हजार से ज्यादा लोग फंस गए है।
मीडिया रिपोर्टस के अनुसार रानाचट्टी के पास अचानक बुधवार शाम को हल्की बारिश के बीच शाम छह बजे यमुनोत्री राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग के निचले हिस्से में भूस्खलन हुआ। इसके कारण हाईवे का करीब 15 मीटर लंबा और तीन मीटर चौड़ा हिस्सा धंस गया। सड़क का आधे से अधिक हिस्सा धंस जाने के कारण यात्रियों की बड़ी बसों का निकलना मुश्किल हो गया। कल तक यात्रियों के छोटे वाहन ही किसी तरह निकल पा रहे थे। आज छोटे वाहनों का निकलना भी बंद हो गया है। हाईवे गुरुवार को 20 घंटे बाद भी नहीं खोला जा सका है। मार्ग में 4 हजार से ज्यादा यात्री फंसे हैं।
बताया जा रहा है कि सड़क के धंसने की वजह से लंबा जाम लगा हुआ है। उन्होंने बताया कि राणाचट्टी के पास राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण बड़कोट खंड की टीम हाईवे सुचारु करने में जुटी हुई है। पहाड़ी को काटकर सड़क को चौड़ा किया जाना है। लेकिन सड़क के ऊपरी तरफ चट्टान होने के कारण इसमें अभी समय लगेगा, इसलिए बड़े वाहनों की आवाजाही के लिए गुरुवार शाम तक रास्ता तैयार होने की संभावना है।
